What to expect
We want you to feel welcome, so here are a few answers to your questions
and what you might expect on your first visit:
When are your services?
Our main worship service begins at 10am on Sunday morning.
There are also bible studies throughout the week for all age groups
What Can I expect on my first visit?
You can’t miss our beautiful campus at the intersection of South Del Puerto Avenue and
E Street. The main entrance is through the glass doors of the main church building.
We have parking along both cross streets. As you enter the main building, one of our church members will meet you and direct you to the right classes and services.
They can also answer other questions you may have.

Our members attend the 9AM Sunday School, and then our 10AM worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of our worship band consisting usually of guitars, drums, bass, piano, and several singers. After the first set of worship, we take an offering to the Lord. Then a second set of worship is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Stoppe. This service is about two hours in length.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at First Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here.
